Looks like OY61ZKF which comes up as a blue Range Rover on the MOT checker online.

I think it is OY61ZKF, that number certainly checks out as a Range Rover on the .gov MOT database.

Would agree - doesn’t the second little silver badge typically say TDV8 below Vogue? That’s what the plate checks out as

Got the VIN from that reg nymber and used the VIN to check the spec. Comes up as "Buckingham Blue" which is a very dark blue, consistent with the photos.

Coincidentally on google maps on Castle Street, Cirencester there's a dark Overfinch parked outside. Wonder if there's a connection...

I'd be willing to bet that the owner of the car above has a connection to one of the businesses on that road.

And your bet would be right. The police are still making enquiries but its hardly crime of the century bur walking with my daughter today resulted in me stumbljng across the driver sleeping in his car on another street. He denied knowledge but surrendered his details when I mentioned police has been informed. He wasnt drunk or anything just a bit elderly.

Thanks again pistonheads!

There's no tow bar on the car in the second picture, there is one on the car in the first picture. Unless it's a removable one. High level brake light also missing.

First one has two lines of text for the badge on the right side of the tailgate whereas the second has one.
Also the first seems to say RANGEROVER on the tailgate whereas the second says OVERFINCH (most likely).

However, I trust the OP identified the vehicle with the sleeping driver by its reg number!

Every second car is a RR in Cirencester. The chances of the street view car being the one in the photo is vanishingly small.
