Amazon - STOP sending me…
Discussion
..... packages to MY address but to a person I do not know.
The first package arrived after dark and I told the driver at the front door that I didn't know the person.
The next morning I found the same package at my back door
.
When the second package arrived I told the driver that it was for not me,
but he said that he had no alternative instructions and so had to leave it at my address.
When the third package arrived, the driver said the same, but added that he would message the
named recipient to tell him where his package had been left ... ..... nobody has been to pick it up.
The fourth delivery was a direct replacement for the first
.
I've attempted to tell Amazon, and their bot's response was to tell me to keep the stuff or give it to a local charity.

I doubt/hope that mine is not a 'brushing' scam as they don't have my name;
also why send the identical product (the printers) twice?
In the above case it looks as if the named recipient didn't receive his printer,
complained to Amazon, and they then sent him a replacement once again to my address.

Is there a house / road with the same name nearby?
My house is number 1, next door is also number one but a different street.
I’m lucky if I get my parcels at all, my next door neighbour is as good as gold and will return them but is mostly away.
Only yesterday I spent 30 minutes on live chat requesting my money back for items that again have not been delivered.

A very L O N G time.Is there a house / road with the same name nearby?
It’s a small village, so small there’s no road name at all.
There’s a village newsletter distributed by email,
his name is not on the list.

How close are you to an Amazon pick up box? I’m lucky if I get my parcels at all, my next door neighbour is as good as gold and will return them but is mostly away.

And have you been around to your nearest neighbours and asked them if they have any parcels undelivered?

If you’re not a serial ‘offender’
As in taking the P on a regular basis
They are very forgiving ..
There's another group of houses half a mile from our village with house names that have no similarity to any in the village itself.
Somebody there receives a weekly magazine correctly addressed to their house, but to the same name as our mystery person !
No response from Facebook either

I've recently moved into a new build that has the exact same street name, number and town as a house in a nearby village but with a different postcode and no village name, only the new development name.
How the local council accepted that, I do not know.
Anyway, we've had no probs with any courier except one...Amazon. We had 3 packages delivered to the neighbouring village address. Not the OP's, my orders were different. I was refunded for all. I've checked the maps Amazon use and sure enough, correct address but the map marker is on the other similar one.
Reason is likely that the Land Registry hasn't updated yet. When it does, their map marker will be updated to our actual location. Google Maps already does, hence the no issue with other couriers.

Is your address clear on your house. I used to do deliveries and some folks houses were nearly impossible to identify.
Perhaps have a small sign with your number and street name clearly written on it at your front door.
You can check an online OS map too to be sure your house is matched up correctly.
