Suspension options/upgrade 2006 C2S 997 PASM
Discussion
Unfortunately one of my springs snapped yesterday. With the suspension being so old now this may be the right time to get all the fronts sorted at this time.
If anyone got spare suspension parts let me know.
Are the upgrades worth it, what are the best options. Don’t want to make it any stiffer to be honest as it’s pretty stiff in sports mode already.

The big question is to PASM or not to PASM.
If you PASM there are a couple of options available which will work with it.
Otherwise you are choosing some standard passive dampers which can't go soft or hard at the push of a button.
I had a 997 C2S in 2005 when it was basically brand new. I found the sport mode too hard and the standard mode too soft. So this is more about preference.
A good passive setup will probably be some way in between the 2 but fixed and permanent. You could buy traditional adjustable dampers but the adjustment is via knobs on the dampers you twiddle when the car is stationary.
Hopefully that's a good starter for you to consider.
