I’ve said this before so ill say it again, politicians that are driven by a vision are rare, Delors certainly was and whether you agree with his vision or not he is largely responsible for the Europe we live in today and probably
the cause of Brexit ( runs and hides )

He certainly wasn’t a journeyman, he turned down the chance to be French President because of his desire to see a transformed Europe
