who's the highest milage 996 ?

There was a Swiss chap I read about last year (probably through PH) who had done well over 100K+ in his 996 turbo. Different engine of course to the standard 996's.

there was a bloke pushing 200K in a 2.5 boxster - and that was about 18months ago, so if the car is still going its doing very well.

I have seen 996's C2's sell before for 97k miles on for around 30k a couple of years ago.

The engine used in the turbo is meant to be the strongest one they have as it is so underpowered and downtuned.
