Really liking that white one (JDM only).

Not bad, prefer a black dial myself (easier to read?).

Finally they release with a 3'oclock crown position.

Tempting.

Nice looking watches, especially the white face, looks very much a copy of the Rolex Explorer 2, not that it's a bad thing

24hr track on the face, plus identical 24hr on the fixed bezel?

Isn’t that a bit fussy?

If the bezel rotates, you can read 3 timezones

The 24 hr on the face is for the normal hour hand which goes round the face in 12 hrs.
The 24 hr on the bezel is for the 2nd time zone hand, which takes 24 hrs to go round once.

Fixed bezel on these apparently.

I might have to look into availability on the white face and dip my toe into the JDM.

The bracelet on these looks the same as this limited edition, standard 5. It's nice quality and has old fashioned sping pins for when you want to remove a link, so no fiddly pins and collars.

Nice to see Seiko further expanding the current 5 range. I don't really gel with these field watch versions, IMO the addition of the 24 hour bezel on these GMT models just makes it look really busy and cluttered- 3 sets of numerals is a bit much on anything other than a slide rule flight watch like a Navitimer.

Agreed - there's far too much going on there, exacerbated by mismatched fonts and an overdone GMT hand - it looks like a parts bin special. A missed opportunity, imho.

Oops, of course, I should’ve looked more closely.
