It's coming up to 2024 and about that time people start thinking about resolutions, hopes and goals for the coming year.

Me:
In 2022 I lost 25kgs. I've put about 9kg back on so I'd like to lose that weight and get fitter. I should probably start cycling to work.

Cars:
I want to enjoy my cars more, get the A35 back on the road. Might sell our two dailies and replace with one hatch (golf/focus/A3 or similar)

House:
Declutter and sell a load of gumpf I don't want/need anymore (especially the garage and spare (junk) room.

Family:
I'd like to try and get over to Ireland to see my brother and niece.

Get a new job
Get Mrs P's Mini in a better state so I can drive it
Buy an interesting car that I can use as a daily driver

Empty Dad's house and decide if we sell or not.
Get weight down to 90kg or less. Wasn't far off but usual Xmas bloat has put a bit back on so sitting around 95kg again
Cycle more
Do more with new dog and get him up a mountain or two
Not be alone as much, even though it feels impossible. Need to work harder at this.

Lose 5kg or more as it has slipped back on again over the last few years. Frustrating that I don’t seem able to stay a good weight for long.

Getting some more certainty in my life would be good. A bit concerned about my job. We can’t really commit to being here without being more secure about my position.

It would be great if my daughter got through the first year of university.

Currently don’t own a car or motorbike. I will probably only drive during our summer holiday (hire car). Although it makes sense not to have a car as we live in the city centre , it is odd not having one.

Perhaps get to grips properly with Spanish. Made some inroads last hear
