4c Windscreen replacement
Discussion
Hi,
I am with admiral insurance, and they 3rd party out windscreen replacement Autoglass.
I have a 4c Coupe, that has a crack in the windscreen. I requested it to be replaced in August & am still waiting for it to be replaced! I keep asking them the status (Autoglass) and they keep saying there are parts on backorder with Alfa in Italy.
I have spoken to a guy who is in the Alfa club and he has said the part they are waiting for is not needed, and he has given me ALL the details about that and his replacement. Which I sent to Autoglass.
I'm at a loss now as to how to proceed, because the windscreen is getting worse since the cold weather started.
Any constructive advice?

With Autoglass via Admiral, they cancelled my order because they couldn't get a specific part.
In the end i had to contact directly a windscreen company to do it, Alfaworks recommended one. They refused to work with Admiral because they don't pay on time and are a PITA (according to them). So I had to get admiral to agree that the would pay me if I paid the company directly.
I had to pay £1600 to the windscreen company and then get admiral to pay me back.
Was a royal pain and took ages, in the end around 6 months.... I told them multiple times that the specific part was not required, multiple people told me including someone who had had a windscreen fitted, but they ignored this.
In the end it was very frustrating.
