Supercharged fetish. Evora and F-Pace SVR content

Not sure if fetish is the right word here, but I seem to have ended up with 2 supercharged cars at the same time. I've had the Evora for 3 years now and I love it, but it's the wrong car for me. More on that later.
The Jag is a recent addition a couple of months ago. It's a 2020 so misses out on the latest interior upgrades but I'm not too bothered by that when it has 550bhp. It's ballistically quick in a straight line and handles well for a big old bus but wouldn't see which way the Evora went on a twisty B road. However every time I've driven the Jag, it's been either pitch black or pissing with rain.
I bought the Evora during lockdown when I was working from home to replace a 2015 Mustang GT. It's a 2015 Sports Racer and one of last series ones. I actually prefer the look and the interior of the earlier car especially in Sports Racer trim even if mine
Is trimmed in a rather fetching shade of dog cock red. I was initially repulsed when I first saw the interior in photos but in the flesh it's a lot less bright. Looks great with the Empire Green exterior to my eyes. Other opinions may vary.
Anyhow, I've decided the Lotus needs to go. I've enjoyed my time with it but as I said earlier, it's the wrong car for me. It only ever gets used for commuting to work. My commute isn't long but it's a waste and rarely gets used for anything else.

Back to the supercharged thing, I do love the torque and throttle response they give. Modern turbos leave me cold so it's either NA or supercharged for me. Having said that, electric cars have a better throttle response than either of those.
I'll put up some more images if anyone's interested.

They both look lovely and bet they are both immense fun to drive. I have only had two supercharged cars at the very low end of the scale, first was a ratty SLK230 with the gruff 4 cylinder which had a lovely power delivery and still managed to sound nice and an R53 MINI which sounded sweet and loved to rev and was nice and responsive.
Would love to supercharge the M54b30 in my daily but can’t afford it at the minute.

A very boring topic but any guidance on mpg from the SVR when cruising on the motorway if you've had a chance?
Given the recent prices I'm really tempted to get the F-Pace SVR as a fun family bus, I'm fed up of doing long motorway journeys with the dogs, decamping at the other side and being stuck with a tub of lard that's impossible to have some fun in. The Mrs is liking the Macan Turbo but I hate the interior and love the Jags, just curious if it does ok on the long motorway cruises or if my annual mileage would make it a bit of a challenge.

I'm seriously impressed by the Jag. It's roomy, very comfortable, massive boot, amazing seats, well equipped and effortlessly fast. Full bore starts are laugh out loud brutal and the soundtrack is just music to my ears. The ride is firm but compliant enough and not crashy. The handling is tidy enough and has a definite rear bias but it's no sports car. Brakes are strong and easy to modulate. Seems well built too so far.TX.

Fuel consumption wasn't a big factor for me as the Mrs and I don't do massive mileage. I can only go by the computer so far which is probably optimistic but it's reading low 20s tooling about locally and I've seen high 20s on a run, stroking it along at an indicated 75. The 2021 and newer have a much improved interior if that matters to you. My man maths centred around the comparison between this and the P250 version. I would never consider the diesel.
For the money, I probably could have bought a year newer P250 but would probably be less well equipped as most SVRs come with everything. As I said, we don't do massive milage so fuel costs were somewhat ignored although real world consumption isn't dramatically worse than the P250. Road tax is more ovs. Depreciation is the killer though and that's a total unknown. Time will tell if I'm going to lose my shirt on it but if I do, f

That's where I am with it, not interested in a diesel, and in my head I'm not convinced any of the 4 cylinder petrol options quite cut it for that sort of car (especially as I'd be coming from a similar power but lighter 4 pot Focus ST). I know they did a V6 petrol but they're a few years old now and not so common. The mpg on the SVR doesn't overly concern me, but I just can't stretch my budget to that model

As well as the depreciation I'd also be concerned about their propensity for being nicked, and the resultant insurance premiums.

The security system will be the same as any JLR product but Jags seem to be less desirable to the scrotes than Range Rovers.
