Happy new year everyone. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to program the mirrors so that they fold when locking the car rather than having to push the left and right button together. Regards Craig

Yes it’s in one of the options in the set up
In the dashboard as I turned mine off as I prefer them out when locked

IIRC early cars have to be programmed by someone with AMDS

Then you need AMDS unfortunately. Furthermore if you change the battery or if it gets too low you'll lose the function and have to find an AMDS-equipped place again. And again if you take the mirror off for any reason.

Yet in a Jaguar of the same era it's in the dashboard menu.... a major fail to Aston there IMHO.

In my 2011 Vantage S, mirror fold on lock is set or unset in the user menus.

In addition, I have changed the battery 3 times and never once had to reset anything. I had the new battery in within the hour each time though.

I have a 2006 DB9 Volante, I have had a flat battery a couple of times and had the mirrors off repeatedly but never lost the folding on lock function.

(I do have the later DBS style mirrors and now also have the pectron door modules but had flat battery and removed mirrors before changing door modules)

Well there's a funny thing; the reset function on mine (2007) failed immediately on all occasions. Perhaps there's a battery back-up somewhere which is working in your car but not in mine? Would Aston be that clever?
