have 600LT's dipped again? this is a lovely spec. Seems a chunk of car for the cash, one of only a couple with the pro pack. Imagine if it had a roof scoop!

Discs look like they’ve had a hard life, possibly need changing in the near future but nice miles and spec, seems too cheap really.

Might be that they’ve played with the pics, looks like black levels have been ‘squashed’.

Is this company well known ?

I was surprised to see the copyright as C2024 .... we are currently at the second day of 2024 ??

Compare the front discs to the rear discs in the side shot. Front discs definitely look like they've had a good bit of use to me. I'd be factoring that in to any purchase price.

Most websites automatically update the year in the footer to the current year. Google the company and they seem to get good reviews.

Spec is interesting, expensive clubsport pro pack, but no real exterior carbon to match the clubsport pro roof/cantrails etc which imo is a shame.

Also its been for sale since November, at a bargain price, it makes you wonder why its not sold.

Same car as on other thread, and those discs do look toast. An indication of how it's been looked after at such low miles.

Im not saying they are ok, but seems to be many threads about discs looking "toast" on various Mclarens which i cant believe is representative, is it possible that its the photos making them seem bad, lighting or something else. I am not a photographer but just putting it out there. Theres some new discs on ebay that dont look much better for example.

It's certainly feasible. In the case of this car, however, it has obviously seen some track use otherwise why else have full harnesses.

The only way to gauge the condition of carbon ceramics is to weigh them.

I have new rear discs on mine recently due to bolts moving and they aren't pretty and have yet to bed in. But they usually from what I've seen have a sheen to them when in good order. The other explanation could be how it's been washed, ie; chemicals on the discs or as you rightly say the pics aren't that great.

I’d not want those discs on my 600LT no matter what the scales or vernier suggest,, they’ve been abused on track with the surface condition now being compromised, don’t get me wrong they’ll not disintegrate immediately on use but they sure will eat those pads up,, Probably why the car is being offered at a very competitive price,, Go on, get it bought !!

Not always, when I spoke to V ref this, I was reminded that the holes/slots etc act as a receptacle for the dust, and if they aren't scrupulously cleaned before weighing, the end result is a bit meaningless.

Interesting and useful to know.

Those discs are fooooked!!!

Same happened to my friends F-TYPE which are same CCM discs. He still daily drove the car for a few years with them like this, they still work - but eventually they disintegrated, literally mounds of carbon would appear in the wheel rim when just stationary.

You certainly wouldn’t want to be using them enthusiastically for much more once they’ve reach that state
