Got my tickets and Air BnB sorted for this year's Le Mans but whilst the accommodation lists parking as included, a quick look on Google maps would suggest its in a pretty public area.

Given that once I'm there, I don't tend to drive until its time to return to the UK, I was looking for somewhere secure reasonably central I could park my car for the Friday to Monday. Any suggestions?

Apart from one rather dodgy car park we used a few years ago, I've always parked in the underground car park at the Place de la Republique (very handy for scrutineering). I don't know if you can park there through four days though. It would be the first place I'd investigate if I were in your shoes.

Parking 'in public' might be a decent option anyway. If its a busy residential area with people coming and going then it might be safer than being clearly left long term in a public car park - especially if most of the other cars go home at the end of the day.

Perhaps give us a clue as to where the AirBnB is and people can suggest somewhere nearby....

I'd suggest the car park at the main train station in Le Mans city centre - super easy for tram access - and about 25 euros for the long weekend

No. They're still coming up occasionally on the resale site. With over 5 months to go, there's still a good chance of getting one.

I’ve parked here before and I wouldn’t have an issue leaving the car for 2-3 days.

I generally feel quite comfortable leaving cars in France and Le Mans wouldn’t jump out as being a higher risk.

It would seem to make sense leaving it in Le Mans rather than the circuit. I’ve not used the tram system, but looks quite good for access though must be very busy at times.

What sort of car is it… Supercar attention grabbing?

Thanks for the tips all, will look into those car park options. My car isn’t overly flash, a red Alfa Giulia Quad but I’d still rather be on the safe side.
