Malta or Majorca in February.

Afternoon folks, having been to Lanzarote several times over last few years would either Malta or Majorca be a nice place to be in February for a family with 2 kids, always nice to try somewhere different but we like the sunshine, is it the Canaries or nothing really with its great climate at this time of year.

Neither will be the same temp as Lanzarote and for Majorca - unless you stay in Palma most places will be closed. Its not an all year resort like the Canaries.

Cape Verde is worth a look, it will be warmer than the canaries. Less nightlife outside the hotels, but less of an issue with kids?

Med is high risk weather wise in Feb - You might be lucky, but you might also get 13 degrees and wet.

I'd second Cape Verde - there's bugger all there but the hotel and food is good and the weather is much better
