Car is back from the service today, the boring initial running in done, time for this fabled meet I feel.

What say you all? When, where and who wants to pitch up? Sunglasses inducing colours all welcome...yes that means you YP :)

Otherwise I guess it will probably just be Pits and me bitching over a pint in some divey pub somewhere! Actually now I come to think of it...

Please NOT a second Sunday in the month cos I have 'official' duties as RO.....

Unless of course you all want to come to the October/November Mid Essex Meet for a brill carvery.......

Now.....I know Pits and DJC are not 'Meet' peeps....but you have my permission to ignore everyone else and sit in a corner with each other

Anyway......the offer is there.......

Other than that......any time on a weekend......

I'm marooned out here in Paris at the moment but once there are a few date suggestions I'll see what I can do. I've yet to see another Sagaris on the road (Gatwick TVR's demo car doesn't really count does it?) so to see a bunch of them would be a lovely sight to be sure.

Erm, lets see

I have no interest in the social side of TVR ownership. I really did think Id made that quite clear. I enjoyed driving the Griff and I enjoy driving the Sagaris.

And in another post....

Likewise, Ive also got nothing against others having their meets, it just isnt my scene.

Ooopps....
DJC said:
Ive just said I havent really got much desire to go to them.

Ahhh yes, Pits...

Im afraid Im with Pits, I dont want to be in a convoy, I want myself, my car and an empty road at 6am. Then go home and have a cup of tea. How this is unreasonable is beyond me, but there you go.

I don't think he'll be coming to your meet mate.....

Crikey, good job I didn't tell you what I really think of 'meets!'

David, can I come to your meet?

One SAGGY and one Tuscan. Cool.

All done in jest mate, from one car geek to another, yaknow.

Meets and convoys arent really my scene, but as I was the one who brought up the whole "Sagaris meet" thing, I cant really say bollox to it all now can I?

Besides I prefer to think of this as the TVR equivalent of flash mobbing...Sagairs Mobbing. A whole bunch of random Sagaris owners turn up in one place with their cars...and then bugger off again

why not a meeting in the Netherlands and have FREE BEER !!!!!!! for a whole day !!!

because :
As a part of the annual Oltimer festival on the 17th of September we proudly present every TVR model ever made to the open public. As far as we know this has never happened. The festival is known to attract over 35K people and covers a wide range of cars. This year the Blackpool aan den Rijn boys hooked up with the organisation and were given an entire street to display every single model TVR ever made. Unfortionaly we do not have a Sagaris and a T350C yet. Who likes to come over with his T350C or Sagaris to join the display here in the Netherlands. The festival covers the entire day and a very special afterparty for every TVR owner that will show up.

Yup...will post a few piccies as soon as I get the time to download them!

Petrol certainly is a problem at the mo......we were supposed to take an extra couple of days touring round Yorkshire and then home via a scenic route other than the M1, but yesterday was proving a problem getting fuel and somehow it didn't seem quite right to be wasting it on touring round when others might need it for work...so we came home.

What! There would have been plenty if everyone had not rushed out to buy some in a panic. I think it is them who have spoilt your holiday........
