What's happening to prices of used Aston DBS's from 2008-2012. 6 months ago I saw that the Ultimate editions were priced to sell for £150k + and now it's less than £100k (even with low mileage).

I own a DBS (not an Ultimate), 2012 with only 25k miles and the value seems to have plummeted. Is this true? Any views?

I see what they are selling at trade, things across the board are getting a hammering at the moment. The DBS have normalised post covid and like everything else have dipped a little lower than I'd expected. That's because a few more came to the market, a few aren't moving and money is safer in the bank.

There's a white 50k mile slightly tatty DBS doing the rounds on BCA in the mid 40s and no ones snapped it up yet. I've bid on it 4 times and still it's not reached its reserve. Perfect project car though.

I noticed this also and am very tempted to snatch one up at these prices!

£100k for an almost 10+ year old car is not that bad!

Look at a Bentley supersports they are more than half that
Overall I think AM cars hold their money pretty well

Guess not! Though it's not "just" any old 10yr old car, it's a coveted brand and limited model ... I was just surprised by what felt like a sudden drop in prices

Threads like this don’t help values as it instils doubt into people’s minds.

Prices this time of year always dip, but sure not helped by the increase in Mortgage costs and energy for people let alone the cost to borrow money if you don’t have cash to spend.
As I own a very nice 2010 DBS I know that these cars cost to keep properly maintained and then the additional cost for an official AM warranty.
So some cars are cheap for a reason, buyer beware !!

Yes maybe that's it
And the last thing I'm trying to do with this thread is damage my own value in my car! I was just astonished with the rapid change! I'm holding onto mine, love it too much and guess that's the point with Astons 😉

I agree with that. Exactly right.

12 years ago, I found the perfect Aston Martin for me. It has since been given a few enhancements and is a keeper.
One of the benefits of that, is that I have no interest at all, in whatever the value might be.

Happy days.
