Alec's Garage 2024 (S4, Z4M, X5 and R8 content)
Discussion
I've been posting about my cars over the years separately, but I've decided to lump them all in one thread as changes have been made.
2006 BMW Z4 M Roadster:

In September I did a European roadtrip in the Z4, covering around 2,000 miles in a week

It's done around 82,000 miles. Got a Eventuri intake and 19" wheels, sounds amazing!
2006 BMW X5 3.0d
After buying the Z4, I wanted another blue bmw of the era. I quite liked the E53 X5, I snagged this one for £1800 on 127,000 miles.
It's got quite a few faults for a old BMW, but its a extremely practical vehicle and a nice way to get around with minimal effort.

It's got a decent sounding aftermarket exhuast and I retrofitted a CarPlay headunit
1999 Audi S4 Avant
A total inpulse buy, I needed to scratch the fast estate itch. Its the oldest car i've ever owned. Amazing condition at being 24 years old and 174,000 miles on the clock. It needs some maintenace doing, cambelt is due to age and has a oil leak somewhere!
Ming blue with Ivory Nappa Recaro seats. No idea what power its running, its got that hilarous old school turbo lag. It has an intake, R8 coil packs, stainless exhuast system and was told K04 turbos- but not totally sure on that. I painted the grille and roof rails and put the OEM cassette player back in. Bluetooth now emulates the CD changer.

2009 Audi R8 V10 Gated Manual
My moneypit. It has cost me an obscene about this year. Its the car i've had longest. Still feels so quick to me and looks and sounds awesome. https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
