M1 speeding notice

I've just received a letter from Northamptonshire Police, I got flashed on the M1 a few weeks ago.

It was on the M1/J18-J17.
Seems I was going 50mph in a 40mph area.

Just wondering what sort of punishment I'll be looking at?

Probably 3 points or a 90 quid driver awareness course perhaps...

When I got pictured by Northamptonshires finest, the letter had a chart on the back that basically told you what to expect.

Expect £100 FP + 3 points or an offer of a course if eligible
