Has anyone stayed around Saint Tropez/Raphael?

Did Cannes last year but fancy somewhere different to explore.

Lovely part of the world, we stay on Pampelone beach quite a bit.

See if you can find one in Grimaud, not the port but the old town.
Great spot to explore from.

Thing that puts me off is the routes unto the A8, it looks map wise to be rather slow driving to get onto it?

The road from the A8 to La Garde Freinet and down to Grimaud is one of the best, if you like driving.

+1 for Grimaud. Old Town is lovely but a drive to the beach... Port Grimaud also nice and at the coast..

Prairies De La Mer resort worth a look..

Further around there's Ramatoule which is nice if a little further out..

That’s the twisty mountain one with precipitous drops and minimal guarding right?

As you know having stayed in Cannes, it’s a great area to explore both on the cost, further inland or a little further into Monte Carlo and San Remo.

We stayed just outside Frejus and if you don’t fancy the plane it’s a nice drive through eastern France.

Yes I've booked a few extra days this year and want to drive across to San Remo to start getting a taste of Italy.
