What to do with tyre

Spotted this when checking my tyres. Looks like a staple or something in the treads. For clarity there is the metal part, but also some black rubber or plastic in the tread pattern, this is not protruding into the tyre from what I can tell

Assuming it’s holding presssure ( will
Check when I can) do it leave it, pull it out (I’m assuming it’s not in deep) with some pliers, or get a garage to take a look?

I’d say pull it out if you had a spare… but assuming you don’t, I’d get to a tyre fitter. You might want to pull it out yourself once you’re in the car park but you really don’t want to hear that annoying hiss when you’re miles away from somewhere that can fix it!

Just take it take it to a tyre place.

That would be just like an embedded object in a body wound. Leave in place, then replace with a spare, then/or take to a tyre shop. It looks like a traditional floorboard nail.

As above get to the tyre bay, it could be sticking a harmless 1mm into the tyre or it could be touching the rim inside.
