Bird repellant

Hello one and all from beautiful Majorca.
My wife and I (how formal does that sound?) have recently taken on the management of a big private estate here in Majorca and for me it’s a whole change of career/lifestyle.
We have a bird problem!
The main house has opening shutters to the outside of the approximately 100 windows. Birds get between the shutters at night and sh@t everywhere. We’ve thought of mesh to the shutters but then future cleaning of the shutters would be nigh on impossible. Missus has tried decoy owls and kites but still there is bird sh@te on every window!
100 or so cats caged in to every window and we’d have cat sh@te everywhere.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

bird spikes ? something like these on window sill
would be expensive for 100 windows but try a few first no idea if you can get similar where you are
