1 series coupe,sedan, wagon spy pics

not sure about this coupe version (2 series I think they will call it), could look good, but if its the same old 1 series front under there it won't, they should have done a mini 6 series type look, now that would have looked great...

3 door, not much different from the 5door, but looks a bit better with 3 doors (and less pretensions of being a proper 4-5 seater)

Sedan, well, it looks horrible, as bad as a focus sedan.

wagon version which seems almost pointless apart from the fact its slightly longer than a normal 1 series 5 door?

Any one know when this lot are due?

The Sedan and 3 door look like dodgy old Kia or similar Korean abominantions. Fugly. The coupe does look like a Vauxhall! BMWs styling house is going backwards again (after the new 3 series and the mockups of a Z4 coupe I thought it was heading in the right direction again).

Walked past an Alfa GT coupe today, looks quite similar to the coupe as well.

1 series coupe and 4 door sedan will arrive 2007, the rest late in 2011/2012...
Coupe looks nice me thinks, convertible also under way.

Looks like someone's been Photoshopping. On each picture, the join between the standard 1-series front at the coupe/estate/saloon is badly washed out, and if you look carefully they're just not convincing.

(And there's no way that BMW would be testing something today with final-looking bodywork that's not going to be released until 2011.)

yeh havet noticed that the second photo down, must of been tamperd with at least with some sort of photo editing program, its got horizontal brush strokes going down the side

the NEW 1 series will be released 2011/2012. Current models variants arrive 2007 (coupe/sedan). Can't say which one is which on the piccies though...
