Unexpected HRMC Bank Credit

I received a payment saying "HMRC SA" into my bank account. Logged on to HMRC and sure enough there are a couple of things showing on my tax record, but the payment is pretty much double.

One amount/transaction received yesterday (15/1). Dates on tax record...

My tax returns are relatively straightforward these days although I am also paid a tax-free bonus through one employment. I did my tax return in April (or thereabouts) so taken a while for the refund (I forgot about it in the meantime so a nice surprise), but the figures don't stack up (even with older years).

Anyone have any ideas or experienced similar?

No idea as we don't know your payment history but, if HMRC has made a mistake and given you too much, they'll ask for it back.
