Finally got some of my digital photos printed, by Photobox.

Really pleased with the way they came out, especially as they are on a pretty cheap 2m camera.

Some of my favourites:

Scotland

Skye

Scottish beach. I love the definition in the rocks.

Cadwell

New Whitt

Stanage. I like the reflection on the n/s wing

Near Monaco. Interesting blend into the hedges

From a supermarket carpark in Italy.

Wetterhorn from Grindelwald

Bachalpsee

Stelvio.

What do you think, then?

Edited, so they should be visible.

It not worth get your pic hosted by photobox, it will shown as image not displayed. I recommend flickr.com for photo hosting.

they are some very pretty and impressive captures. Particulary the lightning (although I'd bet that was more than likely luck rather than "skill/camera"?).

Love the moon shot (number 2) and the Italy mountains (I'm planning a road trip for next year ))

Thanks.

Scotland was almost two years ago, and the Alpine ones are fresh from 3200 miles, last month.

The lightning was indeed, luck.

They should all be visible now.

That would make a great Athena type print. Great picture. You could take another 1000 prictures and not get one that good. I like it a lot

The lighting (or lack of!) seemed much better in that one, than this attempt:

It's a baby Sony Cybershot U30.

All the above are straight out of the camera.

Excellent work madbadger, it just shows you can find great photos without needing the latest hairy bastard 12Mp jobbie. 'Skye' and 'Scottish beach' are the pick of them. I think GetCarter might have some competition!

He said they were *printed* by PhotoBox.

An excellent selection. A remarkably capable little camera, the U30, in good hands for this set.

Finally got the prints from photobox a couple of days ago. (Nearly 3 weeks after the confirmation e mail!)

I thought some of them had come out well so I would post them up here. Except you couldn't see them, so I changed the host, as per V8s suggestion. Much better than Fotango - not having the banner.

On the Scotland trip I took over 300 pics as it was my first digital trip. Some of them could have done with the zoom on the SLR, but loads of the landscapes were fine.

Someone said it was like the 007 invisible Aston where it reflects the background. Stealth mode on.
