I went passed a mobile speed camera today on the a167 Darlington. Is there anyway I can check if it was in a 30 or 40mph zone?

Google maps if it's a fairly recent photo. Or pop back if you are local?

I don’t live local. I can tell on maps the speed limit but can’t remember where on the road the mobile van was parked up.

If you know the time & day the times/locations of the vans are always put up on the local road safety website.

Have a look for the areas safer roads scheme website, often have a list of them on a map, or look for another speed camera location map in the area.

Edit: having a hard time finding them myself.

Could this be it? https://www.speedcamerasuk.com/database/YNY/yny029...

Speed Camera: Mobile Speed Camera
Nearest Town/Village: Great Smeaton
Road Name: A167 - Northallerton Road
Direction of enforcement: Westbound
Speed Limit: 30mph
Camera reference number: YNY029

Speed Camera Details: Mobile speed camera van just after the bend when exiting Great Smeaton heading towards the direction of Croft and Darlington. Parked on left hand side of road; still in the 30mph speed limit, opposite red brick houses.

Yes, and let is know if you was and it didn't show, and if it actually shows up if you go there in future.

You could always look for yourself rather than expect others to do it for you.
