When I was younger I played golf regularly and was a member of a club but over the years, and after the arrival of kids, I dropped the membership and only play a couple of time a year.

I do like the occasional session at the driving range and thought I'd take a trip to the new(ish) Top Golf in Glasgow... until I checked the prices!

I know it's not really designed for solo play but bloody hell, £45 per bay/hour after 6pm! I think I'll just stick to 100 balls at the local range for £8.

Does anyone else go to Top Golf and do you think it's worth the money? I know they have all the tech and competitions but not sure I can justify it, even going with a mate.

I've been to the one in Watford and it's £25 after 6pm for a bay.

Can you not play individual games? I thought it was something like a tenner a game - think you only get 20 balls though, so it'll always be more expensive than a range.

IMO, if you're looking to play golf - just go to a normal range, preferably one with TopTracer if you want to do more than just hit balls.

TopGolf is more of a social thing where you happen to also play golf and is priced accordingly.
