I like the Ruffwear mountaineering rope style leads, my dog has a Ruffwear harness, but the longest lead they do is 5ft. Does anyone know of a 6ft version like this from another manufacturer? I'm not looking for an extendable lead or the flat material style leads or dual handle types.

There are lots of the usual Chinese random name generator leads on Amazon but the cheapness of them doesn't make them appealing or confidence that they won't break.

We've used Halti leads for over 20 years and found them to be indestructible even when regularly soaked and dragged through mud and undergrowth.

Same here. Very good quality. We have the ones which you can alter the length on, not sure they go to 6ft though?

ETA: sorry, missed the bit about flat leads.

Might be worth contacting Ruffwear to see whether they could help?

From what I recall, they have good customer service, and replaced a harness we had that had developed a tear under their guarantee scheme.
