Money Supermarket recommended this one. Anyone used them before? The reviews are generally good but a couple of bad experiences dotted around.

I personally haven't heard of them but surely if MS are recommending, they can't be that bad?

Interest paid monthly is a big factor as its only a short term thing (maybe 6 months).

We have had an Easy access postal account for a few years with them.
No issues whatsoever.

I have some ISAs with them. Very easy to set up, get validated and pay money in.

We (Mrs. Hants and I) had a fixed rate bond each with Charter Savings. When each approached its maturity date the communication was prompt, the options clear and they followed our instructions without fuss. I've converted my bond to a 5.13% p.a. Easy Access account which allows unlimited withdrawals and pays interest monthly. So it's a positive recommendation from me; hope that helps.
