Several hurt including police officers, two young children and their mother. Suspect seemingly still at large.

WTF is wrong with the world, who’d throw acid at little kids FFS.

So which are we going with?

a) Mentally unwell
b) Aspiring footballer
c) A mentally-unwell aspiring footballer

This is one offence that "an eye for an eye" should be brought back for.

You have victims who are scarred for life and have horrible debilitating injuries, and the attacker is scot free after x years. It grates me so much because it's such a cowardly offence.

It's a terrible thing but there have always been terrible things - it's not new unfortunately.

There has always been immigration as people move around the globe in search for something better. Many/most of us are already the result of it and you'll never stop it. smile

It's quite near where Sarah Everard was murdered, so want to add dodgy copper to your list?

Why not have some sympathy for the victims at this point

Of course I have sympathy.

No I don't want to add that. I don't believe a copper did this.

And people bh and moan there aren't enough Police around currently.

But who in their right mind wants to put themselves inline with st like this?

Hats off to those that do, but i think this has to be one of the reasons why there aren't that many people enrolling.

Any attacks involved a corrosive substance like this should be classified as a terrorist attack, with all the punishments that come with it. 9 people got injured here (hoping they all make a full recovery). If this isn't classed as terrorism then why not? Motive should be irrelevant given the sheer destruction and terror it can cause.

Reports I've seen indicate wife, husband and children travelling in car - substance was directed at the wife mainly.

People are scum.

Did it indicate whether it was the husband that did it to his wife/family or a stranger/someone else?

Yeah. Absolute scum.

Yeah. Absolute scum.
Indication is this is a 3rd party, not the husband AFAIK.
