My pain in the bum mkr golf estate.

The MOT isn't up till the 5th of February but as I've only had it two weeks I thought I'd preempt it and have it done earlier than I usually would.
I've replaced both lower arms, ball joints and track rod ends.
The last bit was the D bush for the ARB, it's a 13mm bolt with no straight path of access, ,in the link it shows a offset spanner being used.
Mine has rounded off and I can't get direct access as it's a little tucked away.
The link shows it better than I can explain.

Any ideas please?
If not it's off to the garage

What year is the Golf? I seem to remember that some have bolts going up through the subframe into captive nuts on the saddle clamp... you've not ben trying to loosened the welded-on captive nut, have you?...

Did it, took two of us about R hours.
Ended up talking off most of the suspension and even undoing the drive shaft to get enough access

Hmm.

Irwin Bolt Grip or similar "extractor" socket on a wobble extension/UJ?

Edit: Too late!

It's academic now but couldn't you drop that side of the subframe and get a mole grips and/or stilsons on it?
