I had the pleasure of driving around Glasgow city centre for an hour this afternoon.
My god I thought the roads were bad around Manchester but Glasgow is on another level for potholes.

Some of them must have been 6” deep and all over the roads, just like a 3rd world country.

Road in general across Scotland are shambolic. I stay between Glasgow and Edinburgh and the lack of maintenance is shocking….. have had to replace two tyres and two springs in the last 12 months. Called the local council to be told there is nothing they can do.

They sure are. It's why I now drive a softly sprung SUV on relatively modest 19" wheels with 55 profile tyres.

Got fed up of knackered alloys and tyres, rejected claims, reporting potholes for them never to be repaired.

It’s been really bad for a while, so are the drains so the first bit of heavy rain and there is standing water everywhere.

The main road in kinning park industrial estate genuinely looks as though it’s been under artillery fire.

Alexandra Parade, past the shell garage seemed to be the worst.
Not really suited to a car with 19” alloyssmile
