Need some help here. Is there any way to take a streaming audio file and turn it into a .mp3 or something of the sort? Stream is also in the form or a RAM file, whatever that is.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I normally use the Creative Media Source app. You can record what you hear through the speakers. The file can then be saved as either mp3, wav, wma etc.

Something similar which should work is tunebite - works a treat for removing DRM from music files that I own (which I do, purchased of Napster but want to play on my Sony Vaio Media Centre PC). Also works for streaming media etc - its a system sound driver which can then subsequently dump out to a file of your choice.....
