I have a roadster XL chrono on a black rubber strap. Where’s the best place to buy a genuine new strap? I Looked on Cartier's website and couldn’t see anything. Was thinking of a steel strap.

Cheers reg. I’ll drop them a message as looks like they only have leather on their website.

Worth contacting them directly through their website,

I had the same with IWC when I wanted a strap for a 2012 model watch which wasn't listed on their site and they were very helpful, it wasn't cheap but I received it from Switzerland within a few days

Contact Cartier directly. In HK I got the Cartier boutique store to get a spare leather strap for my Santos.

As above, get in contact with Cartier and they will sort you out.

The £300 leather strap for my Roadster lasted for about a dozen wears. They are shockingly fragile. I seem to remember that Cartier had a website disclaimer saying they only warranted the strap fo a few months.

The good news is that the bracelet is excellent.

What sort of costs are Cartier charging for their bracelets? When I bought my Tank XL Automatic they only had the leather available at my local AD. I've been meaning to get a bracelet ordered for a while, but the leather works well with what I need it for. I never really wear the watch in vain and is more for occasions where I need to dress up and maybe a week or 2 on rotation in the office.

Dunno, but you can buy a passable(?) copy for €55 here > https://www.partsforwatch.com/product/silver-brace...

When I wanted some half links for my older Omega Seamaster, i searched various forums and parts dealers but by far the easiest way to get genuine parts was to phone up the local Omega authorised dealer and to order through them. (the links were half the price of those in the parts dealers recommended on the forums). i'd just visit your local Cartier shop and tell them what you want.
