Whilst reading an article on the BBC "Will we see snow in the UK next week?" (article below) I noticed this gem Snow in the middle of winter is not unusual. seriously WTactualF??!?? Are people really that moronic or has the BBC lost grip on reality (alternatively am I out of touch?)

Is this a TV/Radio matter or a BBC website matter?

the BBC encompasses all media (and is known primarily as a broadcaster) so one might imagine it's in the right place. YMMV

I was wondering if the thread now encompasses websites, Facebook, Twitter/X etc etc etc.

Usually, complaints about BBC News content gets posted in the "News" forum.

Much as many Phers hate it and love to complain about it, the BBC website, TV and Radio are accessed by people across the globe and presumably are put together on that basis.

Back in the day you used to be able to tell when a newspaper article had been written by the work experience kid; I often think the same whenever I see these filler stories on news sites.

They are dumbing down but this reads as a gentle lead-in into a specific number and isn't a good example of that. Try reading the paragraph without that sentence and it comes across as rather dry and abrupt.
