So, will be booking flights in next few months, for a trip to New York on Boxing Day or day after for 3 nights, then over to vegas for new years festivities for 4 nights. Going from Manchester

Any advice on best time to book? And best site to book these on? Thinking sky scanner as the obvious one and just putting it in as a multi city trip with above dates and let sky scanner do the rest?

But any advice appreciated. Been to both places before but never as a multi trip

Book direct with the airline. Dodgybillsholibobs.co.tk may seem cheaper but it won't seem that way when something goes wrong and I haven't had one trip this side of 2019 where something hasn't changed or gone wrong (usually both).

As for when to book. Christmas/NY book as soon as possible, that's peak time in the US so it's not likely to get cheaper. Find a price that you're happy with, book and don't look back.

I used Google Flights to find prices then book direct with the airlines. Just Google "Google flights", sorry I can't be bothered to find a link on my phone.

Use Google flights to find the flights and use the book with airline option.

I'd leave it for at least another week or two. Most but not all airlines load their flight schedules 330-350 days in advance, so if you wait for the stragglers over the next fortnight you might find a better offer. I'd check whether it's significantly cheaper to get two return tickets (MAN-NYC rt, NYC-LAS rt) rather than 3 legs (MAN-NYC.LAS-MAN).

Final tip: transatlantic flights from Dublin can be incredibly cheap in business class, and it's pretty easy hop from the Northwest.

Thanks for the tips. Will definitely try dodgybills :-) :-)

Had thought about the return option instead of 3 legs. Just wasn’t fancying the additional few hours between LV back to NYC but will check
