Never heard of this version of Ebeneezer Goode, shame I was too young to see them live. I bet they were great entertainers!

I was pretty lucky as I saw The Shamen with and without Will Sinnott, personally I preferred them before he died but they certainly never disappointed live.

First saw them on one of the En-Tact tour shows at Portsmouth Poly in around 1990, really good show and I think Mr C was DJing for them as well as doing the Move any Mountain bit. Saw them a couple of times afterwards (Boss Drum etc.) but they just felt a bit more mainstream....still good though.

I occasionally put them on now but it's generally En-Tact (or the remix version) or In Gorbachev we Trust, don't think I've played any post Will Sinn stuff for decades. Thought that Colin Angus might have put some music out post Shamen but alas no.

I helped set up the stage and sound system when they played my uni student union. Were one of my favourite bands back then. I guess around 1990 so must have been the En-Tact tour as well.
I still have a shamen long sleeve t shirt somewhere, can’t bring myself to throw it out.

I have In Gorbachev we trust on the car hard disc, occasionally gets played.

Boss Drum was the first 'new-fangled' CD I ever bought.

Still sounds good. smile

When I was 13, my parents bought me my first hifi and the Boss Drum album to go with it. Lost the tape so bought the CD.
I also remember my brother buying the Move Any Mountain record when it first released, 12", from Forbouys. £2.99.

I'm so old I remember them when they were called Alone Again Or.

A friend of mine was a cousin of the McKenzie brothers.

Got a couple of EPs or 10 inch singles in the house somewhere (in the loft I think).
