Positive dealer feedback
Discussion
Now I'm not some lunatic but there is lots of negative news on this forum so I'd just like to share some decent news.
Just taken my Tuscan (1yo, S) to an Essex-based dealer near an airport (where I bought it) for it's first annual service.
Came back from long weekend away, car's all done, they've found a dodgy wheel-bearing which they've replaced under warranty! Turns out they automatically give 2-year warranties with the 'S' variant... I didn't even know that.
Service was spot on, the car feels lovely again and a positive warranty surprise. Well done, chaps!
I'm as concerned as the next man about S6 and finger followers etc and even chatted to them about that and they were telling me that the dealers are now being allowed to do the job in the workshop (and it's only taking c.3 days to get the parts). Sadly at 50 hours of labour, they're going to be capacity-constrained quickly, in my view.
