Following the recent success of Mark Knopfler's guitar auction I see Elton John has an upcoming sale.
Mark Knopfler's guitars raised over £8million. His 1988 Pensa-Suhr MK-1 (played at Nelson Mandela's 70th birthday concert at Wembley Stadium, i988) sold for more than £500,000
It'll be interesting to see how Sir Elton's stuff works out. 50 lots going under the hammer and expected to gross over £10million.
