Came as a bit of surprise today to hear the latest podcast from the Intercooler. They are now partnered with Pistonheads. Not sure how many PHers listen to Dan Prosser and Andrew Frankel, it will be interesting to see what the partnership brings.

He knows his stuff but his languid, posh boy condescension(counterbalanced by fawning over name guests ) can be hard to stomach . Like his erstwhile colleague Harris , he can forget that interviews are solely about the interviewee . I only listen to the podcasts but despite my criticism I enjoy many of them - I loved the two long interviews with Richard Bremner about BL. A lovely man he is too - dry as a bone wit, erudite and devoid of the macho huff and bluster of some more famous scribblers.

Prosser seems a nice guy - but I do keep shouting at the phone for Dan not to believe half of Frankel's F1 stories . His grasp of the Moss era ("as my friend Stirling once told me ..." )is good but very patchy on later eras.

I've only listened to one podcast of his and when I found he was criticising the 'Fiat Tipo GTI' he lost any credibility whatsoever as there was no such car.
