Recently the advertising gods have blessed me with lots of ads on social media platforms regarding 'free' premium signals, limited spots available, automated 'AI' trading bots etc.

I visited one of them as of course they make outlandish claims of how much money you can make, so I wanted to know how they work, moreover, how they liberate hopefuls from their cash. Big mistake as now I'm getting bombareded with more ads.

Anyway, I duly joined telegram and started doing a bit of research in to them. It all seems very scammy, with the main angle being for you to join up to their suggested brokers, most of which have doubtful reviews on Trustpilot, and deposit a few hundred quid in order for them to get their kickback, and then they will add you to their premium group to copy their trades, follow their signals, etc. It all sounds great, but I get the feeling it all comes crashing down at some point. Either the trades don't go well and you lose your cash, or you simply are unable to withdraw anything from the brokers, or they just disappear at some point.

As the saying goes, if it looks to good to be true then it probably is.

Has anyone had any experience of this in the past? I'm pretty new this world, so is there such a thing as real and reliable signals, that you can automate trading with? I have spread bet with on an IG account in the past which has a few hundred quid left in it, so it might be fun to gamble with that cash on spread bets with these signals.

There’s been a few threads in a similar vein. Unfortunately they all get deleted in the end as there are some people who go a bit OTT in outing the targets.

A shame they can’t just be cleaned up a bit and leave the rest for the amusement of the rest of us, and serve as a publicly viewable reference point when people come along with questions like this. It’s not like the scammers have a leg to stand on if it does turn legal.
