I red in a mass media car magazine that Lotus planned to devellop a LSD for the 111R.
Does anybody know something about it?
Make it sense for a few track days a year :D, but a lot of club days?...:hehe:

They already have one, its at the bottom of left of this page. I'm too scared to ring up and ask how much it is though. I always feel I want one coming out of 2nd gear corners, where its pretty easy to have the inside wheel spinning away manically. Beyond that, I'm not sure if there's the power to warrant it.

Ive got 300bhp and dont that I need an LSD...in fact it would be a hinderance most of the time.

This is really being marketed for the US guys..where there are lots of requests for 'LSD's' and traction/launch control...both are now on the option list for the Fed Elise ...not that the car needs them.,..it just they may sell more cars if it has them as thats what people expect for the price..and of course the profit on factory options is more than the car itself

Yes good point - I should look at my clumsy driving before looking for things that are wrong with the car!

Thanks for the info. I am progessing in my idea to improve my car.
My problem is that in Belgium, there is no place to take courses to improve my driving. In the club there is a very nice monitor but I have to book a track day AND hope he will be free,... I mean available.

-Sometimes I wonder if I should go to Hethel to have one of these "fabulous" Sensible track experience,.. but it will be very pricey (ferry, hotels,...) and time consuming.

I realise
1. I can't reasonably use my car harder on open roads
2. Track days driving alone is a long way...to progress

Anyway thanks for the informations

You are based a good bit closer to the 'ring than us in the UK, which can't be a bad thing!
