Just a quick note to let you all know that I am now the proud owner of a 2000 GTA in Rosso Bologna.
She's been in my hands for 2 weeks now and in that time I've done 900 miles.

She's going back to the dealers next week for the subframe recall and to sort out a weeping rear oil seal. Other than that - it's been a great experience so far. Can't believe how many people point at the car.

cheers
Pete

I thought perhaps a 2000 GTA was an Italian market tax-break model

I hope you continue to enjoy your new motorcar.....and yes, it's always nice when someone cranes their neck for a better look.

I have had mine 4 weeks and apart from one hiccup (£795!) it has been great. I have been put off having the front subframe re-call done after reading the thread on this site about it. Very few cars actually NEED it... only those that have repeated clonked kerbs with their front wheels. Many owners on here have posted that they were without their cars for many days whilst the work was done and were disastisfied with it when it came back.

Hi Bad loser
yep, it looks exactly like that. A thing of beauty and power.

I've even washed and polished it - and I have NEVER polished any of my previous vehicles.
