With all the news on TV lately about the hurricanes that America is experiencing, the typhoons in China, flooding in Switzerland and recent mud slides in South America, we shouldn't forget that the UK has its share of devastiting weather too. Below is a photo illustrating the damage caused to persons home in The New Forest from the storm that passed through
the other night.

I hope the relevant government agency turned up in less than 24 hours. I saw a Chinook floating around the North Hants area the other day - was it on a garden chair uprighting mission I wonder?
