We managed up to her in with her dad in the glass tomb thing in the first episode. Then turned it off. We just didn’t get it.
What’s the point of the show? Is it meant to be funny? Satirical? Sarcastic? What?

What I will never understand with big budget shows like this, is how on earth does it get all the way through production without anyone saying "umm, this is a bit crap".

It did miss the mark as a whole, but the characters were well played.

Kate Winslet was a highlight... separately, I very much got Blackadder II Queenie vibes from her character.
