Hi,

I need to replace batteries in two GS quartz watches. They have the indents on them for a caliper type tool, what is a good brand, are the Amazon ones a load of crap? I’ll also be needing some silicone to lubricate the seal and plastic tweezers for the battery. No idea where to source a GS battery, or if it’s worth worrying?

Thanks for your help smile

I heard the Chinese ones on Amazon were rubbish, so I bought a Bergeon 4932 (which I did get from Amazon IIRC). You will be able to buy the battery on Amazon but you probably need to open the case to see which type you need. I also bought a press to close the case afterwards.

I've bought watch related tools from Cousins before and found them to be good.

Just be wary of randomly browsing their tools sections as you might end up buying lots of stuff you weren't aware you "needed/wanted". smile
