Garmin Fenix 5x

Hi All

One of my mates wants to give me his Garmin fenix 5x thats a couple of years old. Seems in good condition but i was wondering if these are any good nowadays for running and everyday wear?? Ive always worn Suunto.

Are they still worth it when there is already a fenix 7?

I know people happily running with a Fenix 3, so a 5x is probably still fine. I use a 6x and see no need to upgrade for a few years yet.

I would go for it. As long as the battery is holding out well enough. In the beginning, sunnto were ahead of Garmin but by the Fenix onwards, I think they lost their way although the newest suuntu watches see pretty good again.
