Naked Gun with Liam Neeson

Yes, you read that correctly. The reboot of Naked Gun will see Frank Drebin take to our screens once more, but this time with a particular set of skills.
Liam Neeson will portray Drebin in the long delayed movie which is being produced in part by Seth MacFarlane and set for release July 2025.

Some may recall that Neeson had a cameo in MacFarlane's Ted 2 back in 2015.

I love Police Squad and of course, the Naked Gun films. Pure comedy genius that's still just as funny today as it was all those years ago. When I first read they were going to reboot it, I was dead against it. However.........the more I think about it, the more I think it could be really good. Liam Neeson is exactly the type of actor for the role and with Seth MacFarlane on board I think it could be great.

It's something I never thought would get remade, Seth's shown with his other projects that he generally only makes things he really loves himself so I'm sure he'll treat it with the respect it deserves.

Jesus. Liam neeson takes the "good" out of everything he is in. Even managed to make The Dead Pool the worst of the dirty harry series.

If he portrays Drebin as the same character as Ted2 then I'm all for it. I like that modern twist to the remake. A half serious Liam Neeson as Frank Drebin works for me.

When I saw the title, this was the first thing that I thought of.
