I have just had a murderous journey back from London that was only brightened up by one thing –

The traffic out of wandsworth was really slow up west hill going south on the A3 when I came over the hill and towards the Shannon’s Corner and entered the under pass I could see why, as semi submersed Ferrari…..

I was stuck in the stream of traffic filtered into the underpass and had to hop out and get cars to come off the A3 and go around over the roundabout before I could back up and come off at the slip myself, I coned off the road with some discarded cones I found on the road side before with the aid of another passing chap in a Land Rover, we offered to pull out the Ferrari but couldn’t work out where the front tow hook was. So had to depart and leave this chap to wait for the RAC.

Funny, I had a shit day too. Just missed the rain thanks to getting a parking ticket and a clamp even though I payed and displayed - Wan...s. Good scam Kensington have going. Only about 1 in 5 pay and display machines work in each road so you already pay 3 or 4 times by the time you win the parking machine lottery and then you get clamped anyway

Cost me £50 parking + £65 clamp release + 3.50 pay and display ticket and lost work - got in at midnight!!!

Tried to remove the clamp - got the wheel off the car but the tosser managed to get the clamp through the suspension arm so I had to admit defeat - not having a full toolkit with me.

Strange for me too. Ususally I am really aware when reversing, but on Saturday backed straight in to a corner of a building and now have a few grazes on the rear..... I can't believe it!

Then Sunday night on the A1M was challenged by some - well lets say less than perfect car - the vette did me proud!
