Not in a good place at the moment so thought I would treat myself to a look at this.
Wow it’s pretty incredible !
Installed it on the main pc, Steam Deck and 12.9” M1 iPad Pro.
Tried Cyberpunk on the main pc first which has a 4070 and GeForce made it look a bit sad with everything maxed out at 90fps !
Then Baldurs Gate 3 on Steam Deck followed by iPad and Sniper Elite 5 on iPad.
Cyberpunk maxed out on iPad !

Yep - it's Nvidias best kept secret. I've been using it for years, since I got my Shield TV box and it was a free beta product.
Best feature is the way you play games from your own existing games library (Steam, Epic, Ubisoft) instead of having to buy them only for streaming - but a real shame that money squabbles from publishers have restricted what you can and can't run on the service. Still, Nvidia have been very good at making sure that whatever new popular games come out are on the platform and there is quite a lot of older stuff that they support too. I can currently play 268 games in my personal library so can't really complain.

Latest update on GeForce Now means is officially works on the Quest 3. I want an Vision Pro but cannot really justify spending £3k on a gadget so grabbed a preowned Quest for about 10% of the cost. I'm genuinely surprised how well GeForce Now runs over WiFi 5. I'm using a wired Stadia controller, and the 3.5mm audio jack, old school cables versus Bluetooth everything
.
Combining all GeForce Now, with a mixed reality headset really does give a feel for which way gaming is going. I'm tempted now to upgrade my subscription to 'Ultimate' but the Quest really doesn't have the resolution ability to really take advantage of a 4K source, but still, the ability to play Forza on Ultra graphics settings on a massive 150inch virtual screen anywhere in the house is simply mad!!

What witchcraft is this!? What setup do you need?

As a bonus, GeForce now allows you to add Gamepass games to your library (assuming you have an active account of course) so you can stream them from cloud too. I know that the native Xboxlive streaming has been criticised quite a bit so this is a nice bonus. I'll have to test the picture quality of both out on my Quest3.
If 'flat' streaming is popular, there's a chance that they might think about offering VR streaming too. Obviously VR is very susceptible to lag but maybe it's tolerable. Would be interesting to see it in action.

Really does feel like magic....- GeForce Now subscription - I've just upgraded to 'ultimate.
- Games in your Steam/Xbox/Epic etc games library that is allowed to run on GeForce Now.
- Good WiFi - I'm on WiFi 5 (5ghz) and no issues, WiFi 6/7 would be obviously better
- Any device that can run Chrome (limited res to 1440p, 60FPS), GeForce Now app is at 4k and 120FPS on 'ultimate' subscription.
The Quest 3 actual eye resolution isn't any where near 4k, and GeForce Now not true VR as its essentially a massive 150inch screen, but it felt utterly surreal just watching the world (virtual) go by in Cyberpunk, and this is about as 'real' experience I will ever get to pilot a BMW GT car at LeMans

I know the 5080 is out, but for the simplicity the 'performance' GeForce Now essentially allows to deliver on any device is mad. Over 100FPS on Forza benchmarked with everything turned up, and the same with Cyberpunk. I'm 100% sure GeForce Now will be updated to 5080 cards soon, but what game is going to need if the current AAA titles are hitting 100FPS already on any device any where (assuming good WiFi).
I cannot wait for the price of the Vision Pro to drop, the Quest 3 headset is great for the price (I paid £360), but an OLED panel with more pixel can only improve things.
The problem is now all the 'native' VR games on the Quest looks like high-school IT projects in comparison to AAA titles......it's a nice 1st world problem to have

Ok this is really is witchery, no wires, no faffing with hardware, no arguing about if PS is better than Xbox, just put the headset on, press a few buttons and you are playing Witcher 3 in the kitchen at breakfast time. This is the future of gaming.....well once Quest (or anyone else) can put in better display chip in the headset without it costing £3k!!

I'm quite impressed with the actual Xcloud app that MS offer for Gamepass ultimate. Easy to set up and a nice custom environment when you aren't using passthrough. Picture quality was surprisingly good - I had heard bad things about the Xcloud streaming but I have no complaints.GeforceNow works but does require a bit of faffing around to run in the browser. Also, GFN seems picky about what controllers it will work with. I had an old Gamesir BT joypad for Android which paired with the Quest3 fine and worked great on Xcloud but didn't seem to be picked up by GFN. Changed to a spare DS4 controller that I had and it works good on both. Strange feeling to be playing Xbox games with a Playstation controller.
Hopefully GFN will come out with a custom Quest app. The picture quality is excellent as I have come to expect from using it for years on flatscreen.
Had some time last weekend to get in some decent gaming sessions in on the projector, so 4K, 120fps. No issues at all with quality or gaming experience, essentially cannot tell difference between playing on GFN and an actual console. The data usage however is pretty mad, nearly 100gig in one day, it puts far more demand on home network than any work, or other media streaming stuff.

Is there a minimum Internet bandwidth for 4K Geforce Now?

^I'm on 'Just' fake fiber, so fiber to the junction box down the road than copper wire into the house. Speeds are 80Mpbs into the router. The TV/projector has ethernet connection, mobile devices are via WiFi. I was worried about needing to upgrade to WiFi 6 or even 7 standard, but actually streaming to the Quest headset via WiFi 5 connection with the mesh node in the same room is fine. In corridor spaces or if you move around to parts of the house without a node in the room, forget it.
So providing you have half decent boardband it'll be fine as long as you as the connectivity in the house is decent, so mesh/at least WiFi 5.

Just checked my GFN account only actually did about 4hr of gaming last Saturday, say baseline data usage is less than 5gig a day, that's about 90gig of data in 4hrs, or about 7MB/S which equates to around 50Mbp/s sustained.ETA

GFN getting upgraded to 5080 with no price jump, but more importantly for here STEERING WHEEL support is coming next months

Le Mans Ulitimate has taken up all my gaming in GFN at the moment. Adding a steering wheel will be mad, I have a very old WheelStandpro that current has an Xbox wheel attached so I'll dig it out at the weekend in preparation.
4k image projected on a 100inc creen, max graphics setting with 100FPS, 5.1 surround (supports 7.2 from what I can in the audio feed), now add in a steering wheel, all running off a decade old Tegra processor......What software and tech can now do with streaming is mad, but I love it.

My impatience of waiting for GFN steering wheel support release got the better off me. Picked up a barely used X series Xbox that came up for sale locally.
I've forgotten what a pain managing locally installed games are, and I have 100% not realised just how game file sizes have ballooned, I presume because of things like 4K needing much higher res textures.
The install times made my semi-fibre broadband feel like an old 14.4k dial up!! By the time all the games I wanted on the Xbox was installed nearly half the disc space was gone!!!
It's a good thing I only plan on using the Xbox for the steering wheel/driving game setup, otherwise I would worried about adding extra storage in less than 12hr of ownership.

GFN has finally been updated to work with the G923 wheel I got, but you need the PC as it needs the Logitech Hub to be running.
So I've now got a mini PC next to the Xbox with a whole load of switcher units so I can run Le Mans Ultimate from the mini PC with GFN and G923 wheel.
Had to faff abit with getting the FF setup etc, as well as having to drop the resolution to 1440p as my internet connection isn't fast enough for a smooth 4K stream for reason using the PC GFN app even though on the Shield it streams 4K fine.
Once the setup stuff was done did a 20min race at Spa. I don't know what kind of black magic Nvidia is using, but it's quite had to play a game like Le Mans Ultimate over the cloud whilst using a force feedback wheel!!

Been trying out the Logitech steering wheel support on GFN quite abit this weekend, even went ahead and got Assetto Corsa Rally!
Overall pretty impressed with implementation, you do need a rock solid internet connection though, my 70mbps fibre to junction box setup is only really good enough for 1440p rather than 4k. 100FPS on GFN feels like 60FPS on the Xbox, dropping down 60FPS feels like just over 30FPS.
Projected up to about 100inch 1440p still looks good though, especially with all the graphics settings turned up like in AC Rally or LMU.
Up untill recently I've getting my racing fix on the Xbox but doing just 10km AC Rally feels like doing a 20 laps at Spa on any other sim. It's impressive work by Nividia, and I wonder if they will team up with Steam more formally, if they can now get VR headsets to work it would really be black magic!?

Quite interested in this as was wanting a gaming PC but I am also sceptical whether I want to shell out for one yet.
Just a couple questions:
1. Can I run this on a dual or triple monitor setup?
2. How well does it work for online racing or is this only really something you should use for single player games?
EDIT: also seen you are using a mini PC so any details on that too would be amazing thanks

In the name of Science I did a tour of racing games on GFN, and the local Xbox. Tried our PMR and Forza on the Xbox, than LMU online, AC Rally, and Forza on GFN with the wheel.
Overall I do notice the difference between running Forza natives on the Xbox and GFN, but only really noticeable back to back. l m not into online gaming but I did try a online race and it worked fine. I got up to 14th from the back before I lost it on a corner and rage quit
. Gaming with PC based sims does need more faffing than the Xbox, I've had to buy a keyboard and track pad to allow me to navigate the PC UI, at least with GFN I don't have to worry about software updates/graphics drivers/storage management etc.

I'm running GFN with a very cheap PC, I paid £70 for it, but I think I'll upgrade it quite soon. Looking at Nvidia's website to really get a stable 4k+ 120fps stream you need a newish Intel integrated graphics chip. I wonder if the up and coming Steam machine might be a good base machine, looking on eBay I can get a Iris+ graphics chip for about £200, and it'll still fit in the space in the media wall. GFN doesn't support triple screens, but equally Wheel support was only just announced, so who knows......but you will need a rock solid 100mbps+ connection for a triple screen setup if it comes.

Well I can confirm AC Rally on GFN runs well using a Logitech 923 wheel
.
Looking at the data usage from last night, it was about 40gigs more than a normal week day night. I only got home at 6pm and had bed time routines etc to sort out. So GFN even at 1440p stream was chomping through 10gig of data per hour!! The tech is like magic, but it using ALOT of resources somewhere for that magic.
