My other half had one of 'those' birthdays. I did get her a 28mm tudor, however I played it too safe and neither of us were taken with it.

After us both going to look at watches, she's fell in love with this

https://www.breitling.com/gb-en/watches/navitimer/...

we both like it, its more than we were looking to spend...... so, where could i find it for less £££? Shes a Nurse so anywhere that does NHS type discount? Or Military? Thanks all.

thats the slightly older 35mm, apart from the 1mm, the strap isn't the same and some littel details. I have/are considering it though.

Goldsmiths offer a 20% Key worker discount.

That would save you £870 on the watch you both want.

Not on “premium” brands they don’t.

Try this and be oblivious to the fact discount isnt on premium. Recommend you stick to the discounted price as that’s what you thought was going to cost(and walk) at least from the first branch to see what the lowest they could do for you…

Speak to Hackett Watches

And aren't Breitling usually available with a reasonable discount on asking?

They have been making an effort over the last handful of years to stop giving out the hefty discounts that used to be available.

My wife bought that model last year but with diamonds instead of batons. We got it from Beards in Cheltenham and got a good discount . Its worth a call to them.

You should be able to get a reasonable discount just by going in to the shop and offering cash.....

I've always got 10-20% off buying Breitlings, Omega's & TAG's.

When the salesperson says they can't do a discount, ask them to ask the Manager.

I like the idea of expecting a blue light discount though, which now makes the watch out of budget, which maybe they can do anyway????

You will find most ADs will give a discount if they have the watch in stock and you are prepared to buy there and then, if they won’t be prepared to walk and try another AD
