I'm looking to take the 570 to France, and using an Emovis tag for tolls.

However, it mentions using the shaded part of the windscreen behind the rear view mirror which the 570 doesn't have in reality.

Then, there's mention of an Athermic windscreen, metallic coating I understand.

The handbook doesn't mention anything I could find about the screen type, and a general Google search hasn't thrown anything my way.

So given, my Google foo is off.... can anyone assist, have you used a toll tag in France without issue.

TIA

I put my tag on the windscreen to the left hand side of the rear view mirror and never had any problems,

Tag worked for me in both 720s; will be taking the 750 shortly and report back.

We were over there a few years ago, the chap with an Elise used to reverse through and use his credit card contactless. At one toll the Police were there, one got out for a word and the other just sat in the car p1551ng himself laughing.

If it doesn't work just hold it out of the window.

Emovis tag worked fine in our 570S last year. Didn't fix it in place but my wife just held it up each time we approached a peage and it worked perfectly.

No cheaper, in fact buying it and setting it up adds costs, I'm doing it for sheer convenience and nothing else.

I went for the Emovis tag, its setup to take a DD from your UK bank account IIRC on the 10th of the following month you actually use the tag.
